Two Generations of Overhead Door Service
What began as J & J Construction and Garage Doors in 1978 has grown into a second-generation overhead door company serving homes, farms, businesses, schools, public facilities, and storage properties across North Central Missouri.

A construction company found its specialty.
Joe Foster founded J & J Construction and Garage Doors in Trenton. Over time, overhead doors moved from one part of the work to the center of the business.
That focus created the CSI customers know today: a shop dedicated to garage doors, commercial openings, operators, parts, and service. The name changed, but the practical approach did not. Diagnose the opening, explain the options, and match the equipment to the way the property is actually used.
CSI still operates from its Trenton shop at 110 W 10th Street and serves the surrounding region from that home base.

A life of service
Joe Foster built more than a door company.
CSI's roots reflect the steady, hands-on service Joe brought to both his business and his country.
Joe served in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1976, including service during the Vietnam era. He later served in the Missouri Air National Guard from 1977 to 1981 and the Missouri Army National Guard from 1989 to 2004, when he retired.
His company grew the same way many lasting North Missouri businesses do: one practical problem, one relationship, and one community at a time.

Jason Foster joined the business in 2005 after 12 years working as a commercial deep-water diver. He now owns and operates CSI.
The work may be different, but the discipline transfers: understand the system, respect the forces involved, and do not guess when safety matters. That mindset fits a trade where heavy moving doors, springs, operators, controls, and commercial openings all have to work together.
Today CSI supports homeowners choosing a replacement door, businesses protecting a working opening, storage operators managing many doors at once, and property owners trying to understand a failure before it becomes a bigger interruption.
